Instagram Nashville Effect (Vintage/Retro) In Photoshop

 This tutorial will be helpful for the ones who are trying to give a cool effect to their profile pictures or any others. This Instagram Nashville effect will also give a vintage effect to your photo. This requires only a little bit of time and it’s very easy. So let’s get started.



 1st  Step : Open up the image which you’re trying to give this effect by going File/ Open.





 2nd Step : Create a new Layer by going Layer/ New /Layer via copy.




 3rd Step : Make the Background Layer not visible.




 4th Step : Adjust the colors in the top of Layer panel. R-247 , G-217 , B-173.


NOTE : If you don’t have the Layer panel you can take it by going Window/ Color or else simply press F6.



5th Step : Create another new Layer by going Layer/ New/ Layer or simply press Shift + Ctrl + N. When creating a new layer make sure you have clicked the current Layer 1.




6th Step : Now take the Paint Bucket tool from the tool bar or Press G.




 7th Step : Fill that layer with the color you selected. It’s a Brownish gold color. It should give something like this.



8th Step : And now change the blending mode to Multiply.


It should automatically change to goldish picture like this.



9th Step : Click on Layer  1 .



10th Step : Now go to Layer/ New adjustment layer/ Curves.




 12th Step : After curve bar pop ups select the color Green.




13th Step : And change the output to 37.




 14th Step : Same as that change the color to Blue and output for it is 133.




15th Step : Again go to Layer/ New adjustment layer/ Levels.


16th Step : After the level box pop ups, set in the middle 1.36 and right 236.




 17th Step : Now go to Layer/ New adjustment layer/ Brightness and contrast.


18th Step : Set the brightness to 6 and contrast to 51.



19th Step : Again create a curve by going Layer/ New adjustment layer/ Curves.



20th Step : This time again Green and input 13.


21st Step : Now Blue input 88.


22nd Step : Again got to Layer/ New adjustment layer/ Brightness and contrast.




23rd Step : Now set brightness 6 and contrast 33.




24th Step : Again go to Layer/ New adjustment layer/ Curves.



25th Step : Select Red color , output 4 .




 26th Step : Select Blue color and output for it is 14.



27th Step : Now Merge all the layers as one by holding Ctrl + all the layers ,right click Merge visible. 



 28th Step : Now you’re done you can save your image J
